Q: Can we file any case in Supreme Court through Special leave petition?

Ans: Yes, a person can file any case in Supreme Court whether it was mentioned in law that the appeal can not be made against the decree of court or tribunal and the petition can be filed in Supreme Court through Special Leave Petition under Article 136 of Indian Constitution and the petition will be converted into appeal later. Only the petition against decree of court martial will not be filed in Supreme Court.

Ans: During a case of Supreme Court of Rohtash Singh Vs Smt. Ramendrei & Ors. on 02-03-2000, it was held that  Wife is not entitled to maintenance who deserted her husband.
