Ans: According to article 136 of Indian Constitution, the appeal against any decree or order passed by lower Court and Higher Court can be done by Special leave petition.

According to article 136(1) of Indian Constitution,  the special leave petition can not be filed for any decree or order pertaining to armed forces.

The difference between appeal and special leave petition is that an appeal is filed against the last order of any tribunal, lower court or High Court whereas Special leave petition can be filed against any order of lower court whether last or interim.

Appeal is always made in higher court from the lower Court whereas Special leave petition is filed direcly in Supreme Court against any order of lower Court.
